Happy to be in Kitchen!

Well kitchen is part of my life now, this started when I got married two weeks ago. My husband is a good cook, he learned this from his grandma. This led me to learn how to cook.
Well my tutor is my husband, though sometimes I did not follow him and work on my own experiment.   I started to love this part of our house which is  KITCHEN, since I got married and needed to prepare food for my husband.
Special Spicy Pork Adobo
Our house is very near to wet market that is why I go to market every day. I love to buy meat, sea foods and condiments. I never thought that I would love to cook and let other people taste my masterpiece.
Before the only recipe I know is the Sweetened Shrimp and, now I know how to cook menudo, caldereta, adobo and paksiw. The next on my list is nilagang baka which is one of my favourite viands before. I am happy when I finish cooking and tasted that my finish product has a flavourful taste.
Well, one of my secrets now in cooking, is to provide all the ingredients because this will make the dish look and taste rich. I have some other cooking tips and I will share it later, maybe on my next post.

  20. Cool! I learned to cook this year too. Aside from my eagerness, I had to take over my nanay's chores since she's getting old and gets tired easily.

I know a few simple things but I have to cook it over and over again so I can remember it well and cook it without supervision :)

  26. You are just married and beginning or learning to cook for your hubby. I do believe that the shortest way to a man's heart is a good cook. And this is the reason why I got married to woman who is a good cook. I love all my wife's style of cooking. She knows my favorite then.

  29. Your adobo made me feel hungry. I hope you can share your recipes too. I live nearby a talipapa and so its easy to get the staples. You're lucky you have ready access to a wet market but at the same time a traffic disaster.
